A family guesthouse run
with love for over 20 years
Łeba, summer 2026
Dear Guest,
We are the Kowalczyks – Basia, Marek and our daughter Zosia. Over 20 years ago we fell in love with this stretch of coast and decided to settle here. The Bursztynowa Plaża guesthouse is our home, which we gladly share with you.
We are not a chain hotel. We have no 24/7 reception or a lift with music. What we do have is Basia's home-cooked breakfasts, Marek's knowledge of the best trails and Zosia's smile at check-in.
If you're looking for a place where you'll feel like family – you've come to the right spot.
Warm regards,The Kowalczyk Family
Instead of numbers – names. We furnished each one differently, with its own little stories and keepsakes. All have a private bathroom and a view of the garden or the sea.
An intimate room for one or two. Wooden floor, white curtains and a view of the old apple tree in the garden. Perfect for a peaceful getaway for two.
Our most beautiful room with a balcony facing straight out to the Baltic. A bathtub, candles, a bottle of local wine to welcome you. This room turns couples into lovers.
A separate wooden cottage in the garden for families and groups. Two bedrooms, a living room with a fireplace, a terrace with a hammock and a grill. Here you don't rush – here you live.
Home-cooked breakfasts with our own bread, jams and eggs from the neighbour. You'll never leave hungry.
A small, private pool with a jacuzzi. For guests, not for crowds. We open it on request.
Our bikes wait for you every morning. With a map of routes drawn by Marek.
An old garden turned into a playground. Swings, a sandpit and an evening bonfire under the full moon.
Your dog is most welcome. We have a bed, a bowl and a special entrance to the garden for them.
We've been coming here for 12 years. This is our second life, our second home. Zosia already draws with our children.
Basia's breakfasts are an attraction in themselves. Home-baked bread, eggs from the hen next door. Wonderful!
The kids didn't want to leave. Neither did the dog. Neither did we. We'll be back next year.
After a week at Bursztynowa Plaża I understand why people come back here for years. It's not a hotel – it's a feeling.
We answer the phone in person from 8:00 to 21:00. We're not a call centre – we talk like people.
